CALVARY CHAPEL High School

High School at Calvary Chapel Schools

An intentional four-year journey where students grow in faith, uncover their purpose, and step confidently into the future.

High school marks one of the most defining seasons in a student’s life. It’s a time when decisions begin to shape not just their college path, but their character, identity, and future direction. As you explore options for a private Christian high school, this stage can bring both excitement and uncertainty as the path ahead becomes more real.

You’re not just looking for strong academics or a college preparatory program. You want your student to be known. To build confidence. To be encouraged by people who inspire growth. And to develop a foundation of faith that will guide them long after high school ends. Yet finding a school that brings all of that together can feel like a challenge.

At Calvary Chapel Schools, we’ve intentionally designed the high school experience as a four-year journey: Belong, Bridge, Build, and Beyond, representing the final stage of the Calvary Learner Continuum, Become. Formed in community and shaped by God’s truth, students embark on a transformative season as they move with confidence toward who they’re becoming.

Become: The Four-Year Journey

High school at Calvary Chapel Schools unfolds as a purposeful four-year experience, moving students through Belong, Bridge, Build, and Beyond as they grow in community and step into who God has created them to be.

Belong: Freshman Year

Students begin by developing a sense of belonging that supports both their spiritual and academic growth. This is done through intentional experiences such as freshman retreat, shared commitments such as the honor code and class verse, and meaningful relationships with peers, faculty, as well as Link Crew membership with upperclassmen.

College Preparation Initiatives

  • Complete career assessments, interest inventories, goal-setting activities, and four-year course planning to build a roadmap for high school and beyond.
  • Take the StrengthsExplorer and AchieveWorks Personality assessments to gain insight into personal strengths, interests, and potential career pathways.

Bridge: Sophomore Year

As students grow, they begin to connect faith and learning with greater clarity. This year is designed to help them reflect more deeply on their beliefs and recognize how God is shaping their direction. Through guided reflection, retreats, and continued engagement with the honor code, students are encouraged to thoughtfully consider how their faith informs their decisions and the way they engage with the world around them.

College Preparation Initiatives

  • Explore potential career paths through the Career Interest Profiler and Career Cluster Finder assessments, and research career options using Roadtrip Nation to identify careers that align with personal interests and strengths.
  • Participate in Sophomore Serve Day, providing opportunities to serve others while developing leadership, empathy, and a broader understanding of community needs.

Build: Junior Year

Students are challenged to take ownership of their growth as emerging leaders. With increasing responsibility, they begin to develop their God-given abilities and pursue purposeful goals with maturity. Opportunities to serve beyond campus, including partnerships with local nonprofits, allow students to put their faith into action. At the same time, they engage in rigorous coursework to prepare for what’s ahead.

College Preparation Initiatives

Beyond: Senior Year

In their final year, students reflect on who they have become and look ahead with conviction. This stage is marked by intentional moments that celebrate growth and equip them to step confidently into the next chapter. Meaningful traditions such as senior chapel and reflective experiences, including the invitation of voices who have shaped their lives, remind students of their identity, their calling, and their capacity to make a redemptive impact in the world.

Stories from Our Community

“As parents, we were looking for a place where our teen wouldn’t have to choose between strong academics and a Christ-centered environment. At Calvary Chapel High School, we found a community where our child is truly known and supported, while also being challenged to grow. Over these past years, we’ve seen incredible growth, not just academically, but in confidence, character, and faith. It’s been meaningful to watch our teen step into who they’re becoming, surrounded by teachers and peers who genuinely care.”

— CCS High School Parent

“High school is a pivotal season, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Our role goes beyond teaching content. We are intentional about building relationships, mentoring students, and helping them connect their faith to every area of life. Through the four-year journey, we walk alongside students as they grow in their understanding, develop their gifts, and begin to take ownership of who they are becoming. It’s a privilege to be part of that process and to see students leave prepared not just for college, but for life.”
