CALVARY CHAPEL SCHOOLS ATHLETICS
Go Eagles!
Competitive Athletics at Calvary Chapel Schools begin in 5th grade, welcoming both boys and girls into a program built for growth and challenge. Our thriving middle school athletics program gives students a strong foundation and a clear pathway forward, preparing them for the rigors and rewards of JV and Varsity competition in High School. From their first season to their final game as an Eagle, scholar-athletes develop skills, character, and confidence at every level.
Competing at the Highest Level
CCHS Eagles compete where few private Christian schools dare: alongside the largest public schools in Orange County. We are proud to be the only private Christian school in our region competing in this league, and our athletes rise to meet it. Year after year, our Eagles step onto the field, the court, and the track not just to compete and to do so with character, conviction, and skill.
Our programs span a full range of varsity and junior varsity sports, and our record speaks for itself. Championships, league titles, and individual honors are a consistent part of the CCHS story. What sets CC Eagles Athletics apart is not the trophies alone. It is who our athletes become in the process.
Faith in Every Sport
Athletics at CCS is an extension of our mission to develop the whole child. Every team, every season, and every competition is an intentional space for discipleship and character formation. Coaches lead regular devotions and team prayer. Athletes are challenged not only to excel physically, but to grow in integrity, resilience, perseverance, and servant leadership.
CCS is a proud member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), a nationally recognized organization that equips student-athletes to use the platform of sport to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Through FCA huddles, devotions, and shared community, our athletes are grounded in something greater than the game.
When an Eagle competes, they carry that formation with them onto every field.

Coaches Who Invest
Behind every Eagles team is a coaching staff that shows up with more than a game plan. Our coaches are mentors, leaders, and believers who understand that their influence extends well beyond the final whistle. Selected for both their competitive expertise and their commitment to the CCS mission, they model what it looks like to pursue excellence with humility and to lead with faith.
Words from a Parent
“My daughter wanted to play Beach Volleyball with Coach Coffin, so we went from homeschooling to Calvary. He’s the best coach ever.”
