Clubs & Activities Overview

Clubs and Activities: get involved

The CCS community thrives when learners engage in activities beyond the classroom walls and beyond the regular bell schedule.

The Lower Divisions

At each age and stage, our Eagles can engage with one another in fun and exciting experiences. In our earliest ages students discover Abba’ Garden, lunch playdates with Parents, Trike-a-thon, Legacy Day, Park Playdays, and more! Elementary students may participate in Logos Singers, LEAD club, beginning band, the Bible Bowl, art and performance camps…and in fifth grade, join a competitive athletic team; all designed for elementary learners!

The Upper Divisions

As students enter middle school, the call to Engage is enhanced! Each student is placed in one of our four Houses. Through integrated community groups, sixth through eighth graders engage in community buildiing activities and friendly competion. CCMS leadership team designs experiences, and students develop clubs based on common interests. Students are eligible to audition for our two annual Musical Productions. Additionally, Eagle athletes at this level compete with other local private schools in team sports.

Calvary Chapel High School is recognized as one of the most comprehensive programs among Orange County private schools. Students have extra-curricular opportunities unmatched by local schools, including ASB Leadership, school dances, Homecoming festivities, a full array of boys and girls varsity and JV sports, fully-stage Musical productions, student interest based clubs, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, International Space Station, pep-band, jazz band, drumline, and Acapella ensemble. We view participation in these activities as an integral part of exploring and developing the whole person.
