Meet the Head of Schools

Hello Orange County Family!

Welcome to Calvary Chapel Schools! We are thrilled that you are considering joining our beautiful learning community. As an educational institution grounded in Christ’s love and teachings, our mission is to build tomorrow’s Christian leaders today. We believe that a truly transformative education integrates academic excellence with spiritual growth, preparing students not only for future success but for lives of purpose and service in the right now.

Building Tomorrow’s Christian Leaders Today

In today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world, our students face challenges that require not just intellectual knowledge but also a strong foundation in character, faith, and resilience. At Calvary Chapel Schools, we prioritize the development of leaders who will influence the world for Christ. Our approach centers around five core values: People, Growth, Collaboration, Leadership, and Glory to God.

  • People: We are a community that invests in relationships between students and teachers and administrators and across families. Our goal is to nurture a sense of belonging and support through mutual kindness, courtesy, and respect.
  • Growth: We are committed to the holistic development of each student, providing opportunities for spiritual, academic, and personal growth. We partner with families to work beyond temporary achievements with curiosity, grit, and self-reflection to open the door to students flourishing in all aspects of life.
  • Collaboration: We believe that learning is best when done working together for a common goal. Whether with faculty, staff, coaches, or fellow students, we encourage a posture of positive creative engagement at every stage.
  • Leadership: At every grade level, from preschool through high school, we are intentional about developing future leaders who lead with integrity, humility, and Christ-like compassion, ready and willing to do what needs to be done first.
  • Glory to God: In all that we do, we dedicate ourselves to bringing glory to God. We seek for our motives and attitudes to reflect His character, representing Him in word and deed. We strive to serve and lead in a way that reflects His love and grace in every facet of life.

Academic Excellence for All Ages
From our Preschool program, where we lay the foundations for a love of learning and Christian values, to our Elementary School, where academic rigor meets character-building, we strive to equip our students with the tools they need to excel. Our Middle School and High School programs offer a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that prepares students for college, careers, and their calling in Christ. We offer a wide range of advanced placement courses, STEM opportunities, and college preparatory classes to ensure that our students are academically prepared for whatever lies ahead.

In the 21st century, academic success goes beyond test scores. That’s why we also emphasize the social-emotional safety of each child. Our classrooms are spaces where students feel seen, heard, and supported. We partner with parents to ensure that their children are emotionally and spiritually prepared to navigate the challenges of life, both in and out of school. Through small group discussions, mentorship programs, and biblical counseling, we walk alongside students in every season of life.

A Holistic Education: More Than Just Books
At Calvary Chapel Schools, education is not limited to the classroom. We offer a robust range of co-curricular experiences that encourage students to discover their passions and talents. From the arts, including visual arts, drama, and music, to athletics, where students compete in a variety of sports, we believe that developing a well-rounded character is just as important as academic achievement. These activities not only build confidence but foster teamwork, creativity, and perseverance.

We are particularly proud of our music and theater programs, which give students the chance to express themselves and grow in their artistic abilities. Whether it’s a high-energy drama production or a moving band performance, our students have ample opportunities to shine.

A Word From an Alum
One of our alum recently shared their “incredible” experience with us:

"I was nurtured in a supportive and faith-based community that not only challenged me academically but also helped me grow spiritually and develop a deeper understanding of my faith. The dedicated teachers, small class sizes, and emphasis on character development allowed me to thrive and reach my full potential. My time at Calvary Chapel was amazing, and I am forever grateful for the education, values, and memories that shaped me into the person I am today.”

We are excited about the lasting impact of a Calvary Chapel Schools education!
