Calvary Chapel Schools has a lot to offer! From athletics, to clubs, to music and arts, we at CCS want to help foster and support your student's talents and interests. Check out the programs we offer below:
ATHLETICS
CCS offers a variety of sports from 4th to 12th grade. As a medium-sized school, we have enough students to be competitive in numerous athletic opportunities. Still, we are small enough to provide an opportunity for your student to participate in a sport they may never get at a bigger school.

VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS
CCS has a growing number of extracurricular arts programs as well as art classroom opportunities for our students. We recognize that as creations of a designer, we also have cravings to design, paint, build, and produce works of art. Check out what we have to offer for the arts:
Band
Exciting things are happening in the Calvary Band Program! We offer a comprehensive program, from Beginning Band starting in 4th grade, through Junior High Band, and on to our High School Eagles Concert Band.
Calvary band students are exposed to a variety of musical styles and performance opportunities. The annual Calvary Jazz Cafe features the Eagles Band with a professional guest jazz artist. Our students have performed on the Fiesta Stage at Knott’s Berry Farm, on the field at Angel Stadium for the Star Spangled Banner, and at concerts, pep rallies, and events on the CCHS campus.
We want our students to be prepared with a love and appreciation for music, and we strive to give students the tools they need for participation in music beyond high school. Calvary students have gone on to perform in ensembles and to major in music in 4-year colleges.
Meet the Masters
Meet the Masters teaches students about famous artists, their cultures, and technical art skills. In this program, we go beyond the secular art world to embrace God’s leading to challenge and direct the students in becoming the person God has created each one to be. As we teach them new skills, they create and fellowship with their Creator and grow beyond what they thought possible.
Studio Art
CCS offers studio art classes from preschool - 12th grade. Students develop in their skills at each grade level developing skills, learning to use paint expressively, becoming knowledgeable about the process of constructing a painting, and practicing composition, color theory, material selection, tools, terminology, and techniques.
Drama
CCS works with the church drama ministry to bring our students' talent to the stage. Students from middle school through high school will perform in the fall and the spring every year. This year, the drama department is kicking off rehearsals for the 2022 Fall/Winter production of The Wizard of Oz! The classic musical about Dorothy and Toto’s adventure over the rainbow. During this semester, you may encounter young actors rehearsing songs and dances all around campus. Performances are on November 17-19th. Look for posters and announcements in the coming weeks for details.
Vocal Music Program
In the vocal music program, students will learn how to properly use their voice so they can sing at their best and sing with others. Emphasis is made on vocal technique including breath support and placement of sound. Students will also be introduced to sight-singing techniques. In May, students will be able to show all they have learned in a final performance for friends and family!
